The ‘Little Worlds’ of ConnectiveRx

As Creative Director, I helped guide the award-winning Little Worlds campaign—an authentic reflection of the commitment to making medications affordable and supporting patients through treatment.

Partnering with artist Hattie Newman, we used handcrafted papercraft and stop-motion animation, weaving subtle medical details into whimsical miniature scenes. The result: a warm, emotive visual story that resonated deeply with audiences and reinforced the vital role of access to medicine.

The Making of CRx's "Little Worlds"

When CRx invested in developing physical art for the “Little Worlds” campaign creation, we knew that capturing the ideation and execution of model building and photography would be a fascinating part of the living story of these pieces. This campaign shares intimate clips and moments of inspiration from the London-based artists.

The Little Worlds campaign earned industry recognition as the 2023 PM360 Pharma Choice Gold Winner in the Self‑Promotion/Corporate Campaign category.

Creative in the Wild

These examples show how the Little Worlds visuals were adapted across multiple campaigns and content formats—ranging from webinar promotions and industry talks to thought leadership and event marketing.

Each piece blends the handcrafted papercraft aesthetic with targeted messaging, creating a cohesive brand look that’s both memorable and versatile..

Physical Models, Digital Story

It’s often assumed that the artwork is computer generated, but every element was meticulously handcrafted as a physical model. These miniature scenes were built from real materials, photographed, and animated through stop‑motion. The models are now displayed in a custom case at the Pittsburgh office.
